Lil Wayne has been caught in an in-flight medical emergency -- one which forced his private plane to make an emergency landing in Texas.
According to TMZ, Weezy was hospitalized Thursday, immediately after landing, and was discharged by 6 p.m. local time after spending several hours in treatment.
Too much candy?
Not enough sizzurp?
TMZ initially reported Wayne, 30, suffered "seizure-like symptoms" in-flight, but as his reps explained to MTV News, the situation was less severe than first suggested.
"Lil Wayne was successfully released from the hospital after being treated for a severe migraine and dehydration," his rep told MTV News in a statement. "He is at home on doctor-mandated rest and will return to work soon. He appreciates all of his fans for their support and love."
The MC is flying into a busy time of year. He's expected to release new album I Am Not a Human Being II this December, a collection which features the "Lollipop" rapper collaborating with both Kanye West and Dr. Dre.
Wayne's last reported hospitalization was in 2011. The rapper bonked his head in a skateboarding accident and received nine stitches above his eye.
